Vita (from the Latin word for "life") can refer to a brief biography. One can expect a vita to unfold its story gradually according to a set pattern. Often the term vita means a curriculum vitae (resume in North American English).

Welcome, my name is Ilya Grigorik. I am a tinkerer at heart and a hopeless, proverbial early-adopter of all things digital. I am the founder and CTO of AideRSS, a blogger, and a developer. My background is in Computer Science (University of Waterloo), and I'm often found researching or evangelizing the latest web development practices, software architecture, or web standards in general.

I learn by doing, thoroughly enjoy the creative process, and live in pursuit of a perpetual challenge – this blog is an extension of these passions. There is nothing more rewarding than a job well done, and nothing more exciting than the prospect of what lies ahead.
