Tip: If you have layouts that want to render, messing up your xml view, you can set ‘layout nil’ on the second line of your sitemap_controller.

Actually, just noticed a tiny issue with the above: the controller example is named SitemapController, and the route at the bottom points to XmlController.

Once again, this is great stuff Ilya! I went through 2 pages on Google before I found this article and was ready to program something from scratch.

This isn’t the first time, either. I’m still using your paginating_find Helper after probably a year.

Addame, it sounds like you’re not closing the tags, or your DOM tree is not balanced. Load the page and ‘view source’ to see what is going wrong.

Jens, good find! However, if you want to syndicate content from several different controllers (as in the example above) you will still have to do some hand-coding. :)
